Set in the Chehalem Valley outside Newbern, Oregon, Sequitur Winery at the Etzel Farm converted dairy farm into a vibrant, working vineyard by restoring a heavy timber barn into a cathedral for winemaking. The Etzel Farm sits at a seam between loamy wetland meadows and forested hillsides on one of the most fecund ribbons of soil for pinot noir vines in the United States. The result of resourcefulness and honor for the land , the restored barn and surrounding additions accommodate wine production, animal husbandry, crop production and harvesting, living quarters, spaces to entertain, taste wine, and experience a vibrant working farmstead.
